John Beddington started his career as an unpaid volunteer on the Sussex LTA in the 1960s, working his way up to some of the most high-profiles roles in tennis, including Tournament Director at the Canadian Open and the Masters Tennis at the Royal Albert Hall. He worked for Mark McCormack at IMG before striking out on his own and was a prime mover in bringing the ATP World Tour Finals to London's O2 Arena. A great supporter of tennis charities, he has for many years been a Patron of Give It Your Max.
This is his remarkable story, in his own words.
